Happy 1965th birthday to Ptolemy XV Philopator Philometor Caesar, King of Kings and King of Egypt! Better known as Caesarion, he was the only son of Julius Caesar by his wife Cleopatra VII Thea Philopator, Queen of Kings and Queen of Egypt. At 17 he was murdered by his first cousin once removed/adopted brother Octavian (Caesar Augustus), on the false pretence that he could rule Egypt in his mother’s absense.

I always wondered how history might have changed if that promise was kept.

I received these in the mail yesterday morning. The book is fantastic. Chalk full of art and information about the history of the show. Season two is just as good. The show definitely still holds up.
